Did you know that the best physiques in bodybuilding – the 1970’s Golden Era – were sculpted without cardio? Those guys simply did
not do much, if any, cardio to get those incredibly ripped physiques.

If this is news to you, see my post Cardio Sucks here. Even if you don’t do cardio exclusively for fat-burning, there are other reasons not to bother. Weight Training IS Cardiovascular. Do a set of barbell squats and try to tell me otherwise. Cardio can also prevent muscle gains, if not muscle loss (unless you have superior genetics).
