You can make this recipe in less than 30 seconds and…
It has over 30g of protein in it?
Interested?
I made a quick video. Watch this…
I’m on vine here if you want to follow me 🙂
Ingredients
- Tub of cottage cheese
- Stevia
- Apple (use apple divider to save time)
Instructions
- Pour whole tub of cottage cheese into a bowl
- Divide apple (cut up smaller if you wish)
- Add a few teaspoons of stevia
Now Eat!
Where I come from, cottage cheese comes in 300g/10 oz tubs, which gives about 32g protein.
This might be a good breakfast choice as people usually are most pressed for time first thing in the morning.
By the way, this is just 1 little idea from my Buff Baking book.
Also, here are the quality whey proteins I recommend:
(1) US – Optimum Nutrition Whey
(2) Europe – Impact Whey from MyProtein
Enjoy Your Meal!

Awesome little post Mark!
You know I’ve been using cottage cheese mostly for spreading on stuff, never thought to have a whole tub in one go, and never thought to add fruit. This is a great little time-saver. Thanks!
I’ll definitely try this Mark, although I’ll mix in strawberries instead to make it low carb.
Hey Mark ordered Buff Baking last week but the link sent to me email will not download the book. Am I getting a hard copy through the mail too?
Also love the cottage cheese meal. I’ll do that and use a Tbsp of PB or 24oz of almonds as a quick meal. Thought I’d share.
Dustin, if you can contact me via the order form with your paypal transaction ID, I’ll sort this out. No, there is no hard copy of Buff Baking.
Thanks
Hey Mark, enjoying your buff baking recipe book! Great post.
Instead of cottage cheese I use 1-tub 454g-Chobani 0% plain yogurt or
1-tub 500g-Fage 0% greek yogurt or 1-tub 454g-Siggi’s plain greek yogurt (whatever I can get my hands on at the time). To this I’ll add whatever fruit I am craving with KAL pure stevia extract. Cottage Cheese has too much salt (unless I get the low sodium) and well, greet yogurt just tastes better to me.
Protein totals for the yogurt only:
Calories Protein Carbs Sugar
Chobani: 454g 260.00 44.00 22.00 12.00
Fage: 500g 286.34 50.66 19.82 19.82
Siggi’s: 454g 242.13 45.40 15.13 4.11
I’m enjoying one right now with 1 whole sliced banana.
@Josefina Thanks for sharing! Hope you’re enjoying it. I’m not sure if you can get it in the US but quark is great for this too, especially when you need a fat free and carb free option. I sometimes use quark with a little water to loosen it up a bit.
