Yep, they’re full of goodness, especially protein which is kinda important for us bodybuilders. 😉
Here’s a video I came across on YouTube by a guy I really resonate with, I like what he’s about. This video is about the goodness of eggs i.e. free range eggs.

FoodDudeTV rules!
A few points he brings up in this video are:
- The important difference between commercial and free-range eggs. “Commercial eggs come from sick chickens”
- The goodness of the yolk – do not be a fatophobe and throw out your yolks -Eat them!
- The importance of dietary cholesterol
I really like what my man is saying here, bravo! You can check out FoodDudeTV’s website here.
Great site, good on you. Great actual example of what you offer too!
I used to eat around 20 eggs a day (free range), for about 12 or so years, when I followed Rheo Blair’s eating plan. I’m in my early fifties, and in deluxe health and shape, 225 lbs muscular weight. I stopped eating that way about 20 years ago due to moral reasons, I just felt it was too cruel, but thats only my opinion, and I do wonder about it. So now most of my protein comes from milk products, which suits my beliefs.
All I can say is that eggs are absolutely awesome as a nutrition source, amasing. I went from an overtrained runt to unbelievable gains and recovery, with a massive, top level, competitive sports regime as well. People would comment on my low body fat, growth, strength and endurance, and then be horrified when I told them what I ate. ‘You’ll die! You’ll never make it to forty!’ Pretty funny.
If it wasn’t for my moral reasons I would eat that way again in a flash, it makes training and recovering so easy. I would eat less eggs, around a dozen or so a day, as I no longer compete at that level. Don’t write off natural, unprocessed milk and cream either. Fat is important. Cholesterol is important. Hormones. I learned about sipping milk and liquids, smoothies etc, so that saliva and digestion work properly. Most people gulp, which is a lot of why they have trouble with milk. I used to eat 12 small meals a day, and sip mixes of eggs, cream and milk.
Thats just my experience anyway, so I know it beyond doubt, rely on it. I realise its controversial, but I have nothing but good to say and report about eggs, as well as that Blair style of eating, from genuine, long term experience.
Thanks for your input uplift. I understand your choice you’ve made but it’s great to see that you haven’t started condemning those who still eat eggs. Eggs are awesome, yesterday I had 8 which is normal for me.
People buy into what they’re told without any of their own research, you proved them wrong and I’m going to do the same. I eat loads of eggs and red meat almost every day and I feel great.
I consume loads of cream on a daily bases by the way 😉

Its funny, in a good way, to see you talk about cream, and then see your fantastic build. Most people just can’t get their head around it, the importance of understanding fats and cholesterol.
I have been really into weight training for years, since 14, 15 years old and have seen hilarious stuff. And blatent hoaxes. For instance Arnold, Pearl and co used to rave about Rheo Blair in the old Rader Iron Man, and were in awesome shape (admittedly they were totally drugged), but suddenly, when Weider signed them all, they did a total about face.
Even worse was when Arnold, Franco, Coe and Olivia all signed affidavits and letters in Iron Man in the early seventies, raving about how awesome their nautilus workouts with Arthur Jones were… the best, most result producing workouts they ever had. The substancial articles documented the whole thing with astounding photos. Same deal, Weider signed them all, and suddenly later, and now, Arnold claims he virtually never tried them and never got any type of result, as do the others. Money talks.
I like your stance on supplements, the blatent rip offs amase me. Aussie companies selling fat loss supplements with US adds and almost identical labelling, just leaving out the illegal ephedra that makes the things work in the US. Nothing will beat that ‘viraloid’ thing though. That is hilarious. Some guys first marketed it in US as being amasingly developed ‘down under’, by some bogus research centre (Australian Institute of Science, or something). When trying to locate the ‘research centre’ you will find it never… never, I repeat, never, existed. Years ago, after exhaustive searching, I rang the guys in the US to ask them about it, if they could tell me how to contact the ‘research centre’. They absolutely freaked, it was like stumbling on to a Columbian drug cartel. Now, knowing how things work, they have released it here this time, supposed reputable companies selling and pushing viraloid. It constantly amases me. They’ll make heaps before people finally give up on it. And round and round it will go, the ten year cycle, vanadyl, boron, sarsparilla, chryasin, HMB etc, etc, etc. The ads are hilarious. I challenge any supplement company to get average beginners, use any training system they like, for as long as they like and truly show the ‘amasing drug like 300% better’ results of many supplement claims. Please stop using drugged bodybuilders in the adds, its an insult to intelligence. And the drugs just put the ‘finishing touches’ lines… please! Spare us! I have absolutely nothing against those that choose that route, and can understand why, but come on, just be honest, or get off, and give us a real demo please. ‘Look mum, its a miracle, I’m shrinking!’ Or, ‘Oh yes I’m dramatically smaller, I did it on purpose to become an actor or fitness model. I could easily become absolutely humungous again with no drugs.’
Its good to see your results, and honesty. Genuine honest advice and experience is refreshing, inspiring. All the best. I hope people appreciate your site.
Uplift, your kind comments mean a lot and I appreciate your support, tell all your friends, lol.
That’s interesting stuff about Arnold and co. It’s also a shame a shame as money really does talk!
I’m going to get into supplements and nutrition in a lot more detail soon, perhaps one big mega-article but I really want to produce something that will help people get maximum gains naturally but with out the hype and BS.
Some supplements are good, 99.9% of them are just shit. As you say though, by the time they are discredited, the company behind them has already made their money anyway, when will people learn.
Anyway, thanks a million for stopping by again. 🙂
