In the video below, pay particular attention to his advice near the beginning. It’s something most people simply don’t know. A muscle has 3 levels of strength, not 1! They are:
And…the negative is the strongest, the static is next, and the positive (lifting) is actually the weakest. We can train in an advanced way by working all 3 levels to the max – not just 1 (like we do when we take a set to positive failure).
This thinking forms just part of the advanced techniques that result in speedy growth in my Arms Blast, Chest Blast, Leg Blast, and Advanced THT training systems. Just don’t train with these extreme intensity techniques all the time. You need a break from it.
