You know I love my egg yolks. And for years I’ve recommended you eat them too. The don’t just contain half the protein of an egg, but whole eggs can trigger 45% more muscle growth than egg whites (even when total protein is the same).
I’ve also commented many times on the (bad) science of cholesterol, saturated fat and heart disease. But here’s a fun little 3-minute video that summarizes all of that. Put your feet up and have a watch…then go cook yourself some whole eggs!
Total Cholesterol numbers are meaningless. Half of all people that die from heart disease have regular or low levels of cholesterol. And cholesterol is needed for optimal testosterone production. If you’re trying to make maximal gains on a low-fat diet, forget about it. It’s not going to happen.
