Dustin says that at one point in his life, he made a choice between death and everything he ever wanted. He made the correct choice and his story is inspiring thousands around the world. Hopefully I can help increase that even further.
Dustin shares with us 2 weight loss principles critical to his success.
(1) The first important weight loss principle he speaks about here is what I call ‘chunking’. You see, no goal is too big when it’s chunked down into smaller pieces. Dustin says that although 236 pounds is a lot of weight, when he averages it out it comes to around 2.1 pounds per week. No matter where you are starting from, your goal is reachable if you ‘chunk’ it down.
(2) The second weight loss principle is stick-to-it-iveness. Some weeks you might lose a lot, some you won’t lose anything, and some you may even gain a little. But when you keep your eye on the prize and think of the long-term, you will succeed. There was a six month period when Dustin didn’t lose a pound. This was six months of eating right and exercising without losing a single pound! Incredibly he didn’t give up. He knew that if he just kept going he would smash through that plateau – and he did! He says,
“You can not fail if you don’t give up”
