Hi Ted

thanks for the compliment! Yes my transformation was brutally hard work....I certainly gave my pound of flesh. Up every morning at 5 am to do those 20 minute HIIT cardio sessions and then in the evening I hit the weights with a vengeance. I had extensive work, (10-12 hour days) academic (doing my masters degree) and family (looking after my parents) responsibilities during this time. Furthermore sticking to a low carb diet was almost impossible here as I live in Sri Lanka where the traditional Asian diet is loaded with carbs. But I overcame all these challenges thanks in part to Marks mental techniques he provided in the TSPA program. I say all this not boast but just to encourage others out there that if you want something badly enough you will get there. Just make sure your effort is directed the right way and thats what the TSPA did for me.

If you want to put on mass Marks TA2/TA3 programs will work wonders for you. Just train hard, allow enough recovery time and make sure each workout is progressive and you will do just fine. Gud Luck!

Awesome work Darshan-hope you're very proud of yourself-you should be!
As for people not believing the transformation, having done Mark's TA2 for about 5 months, I can definitely believe it! I'm the opposite to you-a skinny fella trying to put on muscle (which I think is harder haha), but the differences I've noticed are huge. So for a big fella like yourself, I can imagine that doing the workouts AND following the diet is certainly going to lead to this result. Not that i'm saying it was easy for you-it must have required some real mental (as well as physical) strength so nice one mate-keep it going:)

Everything about your program is awesome and I finally have started TSPA. Like you mentioned, most if not all of my bodyfat is in my midsection. I'm the typical skinny fat. I was just wondering if you had a before picture at all or if you would mind stating your height and what your weight is in some of your pictures. I feel it would help to give me a realistic idea of what I'm going to look like. I'm 5'8 and currently weigh 152 with a bodyfat % of 19%, which means if I am going to be at 9% bodyfat, my expected weight at that time will be 135. I just can't imagine being that small or know if I would look right.

Hi All

Firstly thanks for all the nice words everyone! And to people who had trouble believing the photos were legit I don't blame you one bit! Its good to be skeptical in this business. Do get me on Facebook, I would love to make some like minded friends, and you will see some old pictures as well as some new ones and you will realize this transformation is 100% legit. Please guys have some faith and listen to what a no-nonsense coach like Mark has to say. He is the real deal

I apologize for not having a proper "after" shot. I tried to get access to the same location as the before shot (my old gym) the same photographer (my old training buddy who was out of town) and my XXXL track pants (waist was 46 inches back then!). None of these were possible unfortunately. Furthermore I was around 11% body fat in the after photo and not my lowest 9.8%.

If you need any further convincing please mail me at bigdarshan@gmail.com.

take care all and good luck with you lifting and eating.

I've never commented before but I really wanted to now because this transformation really is remarkable.
Mark, were people really saying the pics were fake because his tattoo is on the other arm??? Haha. He's obviously taking a pic in the mirror in the after photo!
Here's a tip for the 'geniuses' who though it was fake. Set a camera on a table or something and take a pic of yourself, then take the camera and stand in front of a mirror and take a picture of your reflected image in the mirror.
Now flip back and forth between the 2 pics you just took and see how any distinguishing characteristics 'magically' switched to the other side! OMG, it's a different person!
Also, I just noticed his watch is on the same arm as the tattoo in both pics. Men wear their watch on their left arm (as in first pic), which appears to be the right arm in the second 'mirror' pic. That's exactly what you would expect from genuine photos, isn't it? Some people really need an IQ test.
Actually, the fact that the pics weren't doctored to make the tattoo appear on the same side would be proof that they are real, untampered images.
Well done Darshan, it must have took commitment to stick with it!
Mark, thanks for the inspiring post and for putting up with idiots sometimes.

Sorry to be the voice of dissent, but I'm not impressed. True, the guy had a lot of fat to shed, but he was not in terrible shape, his muscles are well developed already, look at his lats, most guys would love to have those, and his biceps were definitely NOT made of fat, they just needed a bit of toning. I'd like to see before/after pictures where the first one looks like a fat buddha but the second one is all muscle. That would be impressive.

@Peter.
Yes the dietary advice remains the same.
Stretching a muscle prior to lifting is not advisable. Stretching can actually make a muscle weaker. It does need warmed up though. The warm-up I recommend for TA3 is in the comments section of the article published when TA3 was released.

Impressive and motivating!

Mark, thank You so much for Your books!

As You didn`t mentioned any diets or supplement-loading schedules in THT3, I assume those from THT2 still apply?

Also, do You recommend streching before/after training?

I've had about 4 comments from different people saying the following...
"This isn't the same person! His tattoo is on a different arm".
C'mon guys, take a closer look for God's sake.
In the first photo he is taking a pic straight on, the camera being in front of him. In the second pic the camera is in his hand and he is taking a picture of his REFLECTION in the mirror - this has a tendency to FLIP things, you know? LOL.
Maybe I'll put a note in the article below the pics so no-one else gets confused.
By the way, Darshan left his email address in TA3 in case people wanted to contact him. Also, he's on Facebook - you could ask him directly there about his results.
