Hey Mark
I'm thinking of taking up the MANS diet as it makes perfect sense that your body repairs itself 'Naturally' with hormones etc and without food. I just came out of an 'attempted' cutting phase. Got down to 13% body fat and shot up a cm (180cm) with a bit of muscle lost as well which really gave me the shits. So now I'm starting to bulk up again.
My main question is, to make this MANS diet so effective, must you still go over a little of your TDEE? My TDEE when I workout is 2623 and on off days its 2448. I workout 5 times a week now each body part a week. Would an ideal ratio of nutrients to take on low carb day be 40:60? 40 being protein, 60 being fat or other way round? I'm 16 years old by the way. I really want to chuck some muscle back on and in my mind, I see this anabolic way of doing it is genius. Since steroids are a 'lipid' and a lipid is a fat then it makes sense. Just need some guidance,
Cheers mate

Hi Mark
I've just started your program and working through it for my body. I havent bought TSPA yet, but was wondering about Cardio. I have dropped from 34% body fat to 22% and bulked up a bit. You recommend TSPA for men under 16%. My goal is to get to 10% but Ive Stalled and cant seem to budge any more fat. What is yuor recommendation for men with over 20% body fat? How do I get it to move again?

Sid, funny thing was I felt the same way but after a few months of being on the two diets my craving for carbs has all but disappeared (except of course for beer.. not sure that one will ever disappear)

Hi Sid, good question buddy.
Ideally, go on my new GLAD diet - I'll have the article typed up here before you get done on TSPA. It's a high carb diet but low glycemic load so less worries about fat gain. Work out your sufficient calorie level (more on this later) and don't eat above it.
Yes, you can get your abs and keep them :)

I designed a program for my 6'3" friend using MANS, and he went from 190 to 210, all of it big beefy muscle! Now he wants to cut for the summer, so this special price comes at the perfect time. Thanks for putting all this info out on the web, and keep up the great work!

I started out with the first version of the TSPA program a while ago, and switched the M.A.N.S.
I'm ready to go through a cutting cycle, and so bought this a second time - thats how well I think it works.

One note Mark. I noticed a "Warning" including cough syrups containing a lot of sugar. My solution - look for Diabetic cough syrup. There are almost zero carbs there. They don't taste QUITE as good, but are pretty close.

I bought a copy copy of TSPA a while ago as I was interested in what Mark had to offer and I wasn't dissapointed, I highly recommend picking it up even if you dont need to cut just yet, it's a great read. I'm currently trying too add more muscle and I've started using Hardgainer Project X from Jeff Anderson to do so. When I feel it's time to cut I'll definatley be using TSPA.
5 stars all the way.
