@Darin. BBS is a great book and I love Dr. McGuff&#039;s work but his program is geared for what he calls &#039;Global Metabolic Conditioning&#039; i.e. maximizing cardiovascular fitness with muscle gains. While a great program, it isn&#039;t optimal for muscular hypertrophy (though still better than most programs out there). Having said that, I think it&#039;s the best book out there for people who still think that you have to do cardio alongside weight training to &#039;increase fitness&#039; - you don&#039;t. McGuff&#039;s book lays that one to rest in my opinion.
@mk.No, but these were real muscle gains. We know this because of the way they occurred i.e. a few days after the workout during a complete cessation of training. The follows the pattern of how muscle actually grows, as I&#039;ve illustrated in the article.
@Sammy. @Johnny. Thanks guys, I may figure out some alternatives for guys who have the preferred equipment.

BTW Mark, the penny has only just dropped that you are using the Thesis Theme... great theme but not cheap.

Look forward to the new year&#039;s arms workout.
It may allow me to have a new year&#039;s resolution to gain half an inch in 2010.
I&#039;d settle for that.
