In reply to <a href="https://musclehack.com/musclehack-community-forums-are-here/#comment-75545">Mark McManus</a>.

well its because i gained 20 pounds overnight after the binge (literally), and i looked on the web and water weight seems to be what it is, perhaps the amount of sodium that i eat while on the MANS diet plays a part in me holding on to it. it doesnt look like fat haha its like im just bloated

@Mr Kelly. Yes, TSPA is right for your goals right now https://www.totalsixpackabs.com/
@Jeshua. If you're on MANS and had been on TSPA, I doubt that you're holding any excess water weight (the low carbs would have sorted this). How do you know you are retaining so much water?
@Eddy. Well done :D

Mr. Kelly, it sounds like you're definitely on the right track!
I highly recommend Mark's THT training system, and TSPA. The training is calculated to make very effective strength/size gains, with adequate rest. You'll put on muscle and lose fat. Mark's TSPA program is geared to lose fat without losing muscle.
I'd suggest checking out his free THT training info at a minimum, and buying TSPA. It's extremely well priced for the high quality content!
I was 98kg (215lb), and slowly lost weight & built muscle over three years - wish I'd found this site earlier!
I'm currently 84kg @15%BF. I'd like to be 79kg, 10%BF by Christmas, so I'd better get into it!

Newbie here.. Im 6 ft 190 pounds and about 30 percent body fat and very little muscle. I am doing a full body work out 3 days a week M W F. doing 3 triads consisting of bench, dead lift, pull over. 90 second rest then squat, bent over row, barbell lunge, 90 seconds rest, then finnaly Barbell cuban press, curls, calf raise.. I do 3 sets of each and 6 -8 reps. Im lifting between 30 - 40 kilos on every rep.. Im also 40 years old and NEVER have worked out. I have been doing this for a month and have seen some strength gains and some (very little) muscle gain. I am only eating protien and very little carbs. I eat enough fat via nuts. My calorie intake should be 2000 when not working out. and about 2600 when working out. I am only probly eating 1600 calories a day. I want to burn my bf(30%) and gain muscle. Im I messing up with diet? I dont have alot of money so just basically eat oatmeal in morning, eggs, tins of tuna, and chicken all day... Want to have nice muscular body, think Calvin Kline model. I know will take maybe 2 years or longer. But how can I maximize my newbie gains, lose fat, gain muscle? Please help.. And dont rip me still learning.. Thanks for any help! And if I keep this up will I make vast improvements by next summer?
