We all have to perform tasks in our lives that are just downright BORING. Personally…I “score” these tasks.

What do I mean by “score”?

Ever watched a horror movie and during the really suspenseful bit they play that horrifyingly dramatic music that leads to a crescendo when the bad guy jumps out? Or the happy music playing when a couple re-unites during a romantic comedy?

The music is called the “score”. And if you put the movie on mute during these sections of the film, you’ll find these moments are nowhere near as powerful. The score really adds to and enlivens the scene!

You can enliven boring tasks with a score of your own.

I cannot even wash my dishes, vacuum, or go through a list of hundreds of emails without music playing. That’s how I score these monotonous tasks. And yeah…I even sing along lol. Why not, eh?
