You may wish to consider taking Vitamin K2, (MK7), if you are supplementing with D3.  Recent studies suggest taking D3 without K2 can cause calcium build-up in your arteries.  K2 helps your body put the calcium where it should go; in your bones.  At the very least, please read a few articles on K2/MK7.  It can be a good tool in your arsenal for inflammation and joint problems as well.  Without a doubt, D3 is crucial, but I hate seeing people take mega doses without the protections K2 provide.
