I agree with all 10 points. For me there is a more powerful motivation which may not be best for everybody and that is the negative motivation; I see people around me in every public place sporting beer bellies and sarcopenia and to me the blubber that society, through its psychopathic typically tobacco company owned commercial food industry, that it is willing to put in my body is more disgusting and more intolerable than an HIV positive rapist's semen. the obesity epidemic is more than just obesity, it is the indifference that motivates taking advantage of people by paying them a minimum wage that leaves full-time workers homeless in poverty so that a few sociopaths can get rich and pretend that because they are rich they are better than everybody else, it is the junk culture that is replacing the symphony orchestras and opera companies and replacing beauty with ugliness. But maybe that is just me.
Any discomfort ascribed to the effort that goes into working out and making sure than no food you buy is from what I call the merchants of blimptitude is trivial when compared to the sanctuary, the shelter, and divorce from the kind of body society want me to live in my amateur bodybuilding as a way of life gives me.
